A University of Alabama alum with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Telecommunication & Film, I  am a media production professor in the Department of Journalism and Creative Media at the University of Alabama. Outside of teaching video production courses, I am a photographer,  a digital and print media producer, musician, and dad. I have over 6 combined years of experience teaching video production, and for over 10 years have been involved in various capacities producing video for events and performances, as well as promotional, instructional, and commercial videos. I hosted jazz music programming at Alabama Public Radio for 2 years as an undergraduate, and served as Associate Director for the 2008 Alabama Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony for Alabama Public Television and the Center for Public Television. In 2017, 2018, and 2019 I ran the production portion of the Aspiring Filmmaker's Workshop and in 2019 served as a judge for the Black Warrior Film Festival at the University of Alabama, and I currently work with the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band producing video and print media.
